We are an alternative local food system.

As a farmer-owned market, we have created a retail space where family farmers and food artisans don’t have to compete with large food companies and industrial farms. When you shop with us, you’re helping build a local food economy that: prioritizes fresh, flavorful, healthy food; puts more money into the hands of our area’s farmers; and, creates opportunities for new local food entrepreneurs.

Ironbound Farm Market celebrates the bounty of our region’s farms, woodlands, and fields—and the rich culinary diversity of our state. (Jersey is, after all, the most ethnically diverse state in the country!) We do this by sourcing our products directly from our region’s best farmers, orchardists, bakers, cheesemakers, beekeepers, artisan food makers, and more. By cutting out the middlemen, farmers keep a larger share of every dollar, and our customers spend less on seasonal, nutrient-rich, locally-grown food.

Products from our regenerative farm, and our network of local farmers, foragers, and craft food makers, fill our market with fresh, flavorful ingredients that simplify and elevate your cooking.
